Jeffrey Smith sees his work through the lens of income taxes. Having received his BS in Accountancy from Southern Illinois University, he worked at Touche Ross & Co in St. Louis, then in the field of banking, before moving to Ft. Myers, FL (he is a native of FL) to acquire a financial planning practice and develop that over the next 20 years. Jeffrey learned quickly that tax planning technique brought more economic benefits to his clients than ""trying to beat the market"" ever could. After selling his practice and returning to St. Louis with his family in 2006, he continued his efforts by consulting nationwide with other advisors and clients in not only tax planning, but his greatest professional passion: philanthropy.
